Working group on ICT for energy efficiency in transport - WP3
The founding participants in this working group are:
- MCC
- ICEMENERG
- Motion Hellas
- GeSI and
- ENEA who will lead the group (coordinator).
Participants will have to define what can be considered as a good practice in terms of deployment of ICT solutions in urban transportation. Then, they will have to identify at least 5 best practices implemented by themselves, their members and/or their partners. A study visit will be planned at the end of the first year. It means that participants will travel to a European city – preferably not yet member of the network – where noteworthy ICT solutions have been deployed. Meetings with master-builder and IT companies will be organised.
Four workshops will be organised during the project on top of the study visit. They will take place in four different European places – preferably at participants’ office. These meetings may also
be seen as an opportunity to visit participants’ realization.
To prepare each working group meeting, ENEA will propose an agenda and will send a report on what has been discussed and agreed to in the previous meetings.
Invitations to participate in workshops will also be sent to other local and/or European key stakeholders identified by network members or having been identified by project participants through
the resource centre.
