INETI, part of LNEG, is the largest private sector focused R&D Portuguese institution. Its mission is to promote technological innovation focused on science and technology with the overriding objective of raising company competitiveness within a framework of sustainable economic progress. INETI takes up the role of an interface between the results generated by research and development programmes and their technological integration into the private sector. INETI activities are structured around the following Priority Fields of Action: Energy, New Systems, Processes and Products, Environmental and Sustainable Management, Geological Resources and Risks, Citizen Protection, Health and Safety, Space and Defence, Laboratory Support and Testing.

INETI will contribute to one working groups: impact of ICT on behavioural patterns. INETI will also belong to the steering committee.

Dr. Paulo PARTIDARIO, PhD in Strategic Planning of sustainable innovation is a Senior Researcher within the Materials and Production Technologies Institute (DMTP) and had been Head of Department on Environmental Technologies (DTA), in the Environmental Technologies Institute (ITA). His main fields of work are: eco-Efficiency and sustainable production-consumption chains, Constructive technology assessment, integrated industrial pollution prevention and control, Environmental management in industrial companies. 

Mr Pedro OLIVEIRA is working as Executive Board of INETI’s (National Institute of Engineering, Technology and Innovation) advisor for Science, Technology and Innovation Policies. In last three years, he has developed several works above many Researches and Technological Organizations included in European Research Area and above the characterization of the S&T and Innovation systems they are integrated. He is starting as well to work in the Sustainable Innovation.
