Europe et Environnement (FRANCE)

 

Europe et Environnement’s mission is to integrate environmental demands into the social practices and to contribute to the implementation of policies integrating sustainable development. The NGO is also member of the « Permanent Conference for sustainable development » created by the French Ministry of Equipement. Europe et Environnement organizes trainings on topics connected to the sustainable development and environmental quality in territorial planning, architecture, construction, town-planning, and also aware-raising campaigns for master-builders, SMEs, public authorities, universities, etc. Europe et Environnement is also involved in pedagogical activities for pupils and students, as well as in the organization of conferences and meetings around the topic related to sustainable development, sustainable buildings and air quality.

Ms. Andrée BUCHMANN is environment advisor and general delegate of Europe et Environnement. She is also President of the Observatory for the quality of the air, member of the Board of the HQE association, and regional counsellor in Alsace (North East France). Andrée is a former spokesman for the French National Green Party. Since 1986, she is an elected member of the Greens.

Ms Céline ROOS is the Europe et Environnement’s director and works as a project officer at the national level.

 

Ms Julie KOSMAN is the Europe et Environnement’s treasurer and works as a project officer in the Alsace premises.
 
Mr Sébastien VAN DER KWAST will contribute to the network by adding the experience of Desclicks. Desclicks is a company specialised in managing the reduction of the digital divide and reduction of the negative impact of IT on Environnement.
