This intermediary conference will present the mid-term results of the Thematic network. Each of the working group coordinator will present progress made in terms of definition and identification of good practices. This midterm conference will offer an area for confrontation and adjustment of each others “good practice guidelines”. It will revise the initial objectives of the Network and, if needed, redefine them. It is also a milestone to evaluate the overall progress made so far and discuss the dissemination plan. It might be open to other stakeholders identified by each working groups and/or participant. A decision whether or not launching the resource centre and preparatory work for the European Club “TIC21EE” (see WP7) will be jointly taken with the European Commission at the Mid term assessment. A compiling report will be produced by project manager (see WP9). The management office on behalf of the steering committee will take care of the event programme and organisation.

At the same time, a mid term assessment will be conducted by the steering committee and validated by the Board.

The conference has been held in two days (10th and 11th of December 2009).

The conference hosted 9 workshop during the two days conference, 3 of them were dedicated to the ICT21-EE thematic network during the second day of the conference.

These workshops were:

1. Workshop 7 : ICT and energy efficiency in buildings
2. Workshop 8 : ICT and energy efficiency for transport
3. Workshop 9 : ICT and energy efficiency : changing behaviour
